I am a Pogo Master.
I successfully broke the toyworld record of 200 pogo stick jumps today.
in fact i broke it yesterday and got 210, but that wasn’t enough. I had to ensure that no other could surpass me without huge amounts of effort.
the result, 306 bounces baby!

Today I recieved my exam results. Although my results were good, they weren’t what i was hoping for. I achieved Level 2 NCEA with merit (the SECOND best result).
This is the second important thing I have aimed for, and the second thing i have fallen just short of achieving with the best possible outcome.
Shit happens i guess.

I found it on a friends page. and i like your stuff so i thought i’d follow your exciting and cool page :D
Cautiously Optimistic.
Throughout my entire life i have been the kind of person who NEEDS to know everything before it happens. If my friends have some news about me or have heard something, i must know. But now, being told that i have a second chance at something i’ve wanted so badly i wish i wasn’t informed.
this piece of infromation was not for my ears and was only between the people who decide who gets the position i have been aiming for since i was 15.
CONTEXT: I applied for the role of head prefect within my school. Unfortunately i only got prefect. Now it turns out that one of the chosen head boys has decided to leave his role and work fulltime instead. There is now an open spot. A spot that i believe was mine from the beginning, and because i am friends with the head girl whose partner left she told me about this fortunate/unfortunate situation.
So now i am left nerviously wondering who this open spot for head prefect is going to go to. Obviously i hope with every atom in my body that it goes to me. But i did not get it the first time. I know i am the right person for the job and i have a one in four chance of achieving my goal.
so now, i am left cautiously optimistic
p.s I take school i little too seriously.
